| Watch your Mouth !! You need to be Scared |
There are a mass
of people who are speaking damnation unto themselves and do so with a
misconception of impunity.
Check out these
words;
"You shall
not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him
unpunished who takes His name in vain." Exodus 20:7
To take His name
in vain is to do despite to the one it represents. To attribute emptiness to
what the name represents. Often it is used to command the GOD of the universe
to curse or damn someone or something.
Perhaps the time
will come when they will be able to speak His name in vain without any
restraints. This will be when they have moved to a place called Hades. There
they can speak loud and clear for no one will be offended and others will
encourage you to take your freedom.
Many profess to
be Unbelievers and yet the call upon the Deity that they don’t believe in to
curse someone. I don’t know about you but that seems inconsistent somehow.
Some Unbelievers
use the name of GOD and they say I find it to be very expressive. Once again
one must ask how can something that they believe doesn’t exist and has no significance
express anything?
The issue is the
one who takes this liberty has to justify the usage of such words. Could it be
that such folly is the acknowledgement of this higher power and their act of
rebellion against Him?
There are so many things one doesn’t have to believe in order for them to be true.
Examples are GOD
is real and his word is true.
Those who neglect
their salvation are lost and bound for the lake of fire.
Using God’s name
to accent some stupid statement they are making or other usage will and does
bring punishment upon the user.
Ah yes it is true
the rebellious can utter things that shouldn’t be said and mock God in doing it
but Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he
will also reap.
Job 4:8 As I
have observed, those who plow evil, and those who sow trouble reap it.
