COMFORT FOOD

Home Made brings Comfort

Comfort foods may be consumed to positively pique emotions, to relieve negative psychological affects or to increase positive feelings.  Comfort food consumption has been seen as a response to emotional stress, and consequently, as a key contributor to the epidemic of obesity. Studies suggest that consumption of comfort food is triggered in men by positive emotions, and by negative ones in women. Wikipedia notes

Seems like everything eventually is reduced to a psychological equation but as for me it is my appetite that longs for comfort food.  Now I must admit I get emotional when I think about certain foods but other foods just turn me off.

Over the years my taste has evolved to the point where I now like some foods I used to dislike.  At present I like about 60% of what is considered to be edible foods (I exclude things like snails, squid, grasshoppers and other tidbits).  The basic purpose of food is nourishment but it also provides the secondary benefit which is comfort.

There is that glorious feeling of having satisfied ones appetite and the knowing you have fueled the body for further service.   This brings comfort to the soul and peace to the mind.

Metaphorically speaking the Word of GOD is spoken of as being food, albeit food for the soul and spirit of man.

Psalms 119:105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

This applies to every man that has drawn the breath of life. If you are breathing, this verse applies to you, and if the Word of GOD is excluded - - you will be malnourished.

I had a dog and as far as I know he never tasted his food, he just scarfed it down when he could have enjoyed it by taking his time.

In order to get the most benefit from the word of GOD it pays to take ones time, chew it slowly and let it comfort you. You are surly missing one of life’s great pleasures if you haven’t been comforted by GOD’S Word.

Jesus said; John 6:48 I am the bread of life.   John 6:51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.

Isaiah 55:1-2 "Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come; buy wine and milk without money and without cost.  Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare.

Truly GOD’S word is comfort food for your soul.

A CHRISTMAS TRAGEDY

A CHRISTMAS TRAGEDY

It was early Christmas morn I was up but not awake

The coffee helped a little for I had food to bake

The turkey was defrosted and the giblets I did take

For they belonged to the dogs for goodness sake

I washed them clean liver, gizzard, heart and neck

I even threw in the tail thinking what the heck

Besides we would never eat it, I ain't no redneck

All in the pot, heated to a boil soon it would be in a dog

At last I can sit and rest though I should go out and jog

The pot doth boil cooking the meat and it begins to swell

How long will it take to cook through and through I cannot tell'

Then a scratch at the door and a whine by one, no two no three

I had heard that sound before those dogs were warning me

 Come and open the door

Something was wrong but I was too tired to get up and see

What ever it was - - it couldn't concern me

but the whine was now a howl

I went to the door and three dogs rushed in and pointed to the pot

Their pitiful moans caused me to get up and walk to the stove

And behold the giblets were burned to a crisp not fit for a dog

Their heads hung down no wag in their tail only a forlorn wail

Each in turn looked sadly at me and left me alone scraping the pot

They being downcast, looking so sad, for dry dog food was all they got

Merry Christmas to you - - and to all your pets

THE UNBELIEVERS SHOUT OF VICTORY – by Anonymous

Required or Else!

It was on the eve of the 24th of December. Christmas Eve for those who can remember the past. It took many years to gain this great victory starting back before Robert Ingersoll. Ingersoll the great orator who could put down any who considered themselves to be what was then called a Christian.

Of course that was before we atheists won victory over these publishers of fiction. Now there is a great punishment for even reading about the past and including the name Yahweh or the name of Jesus Christ within that study.

I can’t remember when I have heard the name of God used even as a curse word. There has been total eradication of any thoughts of a divine creator. No thoughts of Christianity occurring in any minds.

Those were happy days until the void was filled with a violent religious group that took over and established their own belief system with their own laws under which no unbelievers were allowed to live. Whereas I once was allowed to be an atheist now I am required to believe in a God that someone invented.

Off with their Heads!
If I refused to convert I would now be dead for that is the law. You either believe or are dead.

While I still don’t want there to be a Christmas Eve I do wish there was one for that would mean there were Christians who would act as a bumper between us unbelievers and the Irrationals that now control us.
We should never have fought Christianity and brought them to the weaken position where they were destroyed as a faith by the Irrationals.

If I was allowed to think I would remember when there was a Christmas Eve instead of the new calendar which only refers that day as one of the days of the year, as another day on which I must attend the place of worship of the made up Deity. Our shout of victory over Christianity was short lived and no longer do we curse Christianity.

Written by a Former Atheist which dares not to speak ill of the new required religion like he did of Christianity.

A CHRISTMAS STORY

A Few Apples - Made for a Merry Christmas

I called this a Christmas story because it happened at Christmas and it is a True story.

Not that it makes any difference but this is a true story and it is pretty much as I remember it. The best I can recollect it was in 1937 or 38'.

Times weren't good for a young man with marrying on his mind but love over rules most obstacles.  Even in hard times, people were marrying and giving in marrying.

This story is primarily about a couple named Jay and Cyn. Jay wasn't like his brothers who were semi-rounder's. They were always on the prowl much like Tom cats. One might say they were a wee bit coarse and vulgar. Also the people the brothers hung around were about the same.

I recall one instance when I was about seven, I met up with several of those men I knew; and one of them was selling what looked like balloons for ten cents each.

Since I didn't have a dime I didn't buy one and besides I thought it was too much for a balloon so I left.

That being said, Jay was just the opposite from his brothers. The time came when Jay found a girl he liked, and she was as shy as he was. Her parents were very strict, and she was very obedient. Her parents didn't have much but were as frugal as one could be. Since she was used to having very little the fact Jay didn't have anything didn't bother her.

Jay got along with Cyn's folks and after a while they were wed. It had taken Jay awhile to save up the two dollars for the wedding. It was a dollar for the license and a dollar for the minister. He might have done it for less but the minister had to eat also. Cyn's folks lived in town and Jay moved in with her folks.

Jay managed to earn a little money to help the family, and then he had the opportunity to become a share cropper. He had been raised on a farm so it was a good fit for him. The problem was the farm he was going to work on was ready to be harvested, and he couldn't get a share of the crop so he had to work for low day wages.

The owner had to run off the previous fellow who had been working there because he wasn't doing his job and left everything in a mess leaving the farmer without funds.

This first year was going to be touch and go. The good part was there were some range chickens who fed themselves, a cow, and a couple of apple trees. There wasn't much food left except a little flour in the bin and some lard in a lard stand.

Cyn's folks gave them some of the can goods they had put up during the summer and the farmer threw in a couple sides of fat belly. There was a tater patch that hadn't been cared for, but they managed to find quite a few taters which they put away in the cellar for use later.

With a cook stove, a fireplace, a couple of coal oil lamps and a bed they were pretty well ready for the long winter. Jay had cut enough wood for the fireplace and cook stove and stacked it on the porch where the snow wouldn’t cover it up. The cow was just about dry but she was going to calf in a month or two so they would share the milk with the calf.

It was the day before Christmas and they didn't have anything special for Christmas dinner. The sun had come out and Jay was looking through the chest of drawers the former tenant had left, and he found seven 22 cartridges. He decided to go hunting and see if he could get some food.

With the seven bullets he shot seven rabbits and took them to the general store and asked how much he could get for them. The store owner was actually his uncle but they weren't very close. He said he would give him 25 cents cash credit for each of them so he had a dollar and seventy five cents to spend.

Jay bought some apples, oranges and nuts and everything to have a great Christmas.

Since they never had any children it may have been the best Christmas they ever had.

The facts are there and they will never change even though that was seventy five years ago.  RIP Uncle Wiley and Aunt Cynthia.

BLESSED HOPE

Our Blessed Hope In Christ

I recall some time ago a man was ridiculing the Christian church and he ended up by saying;  Christians are sitting around “waiting for the blessed hope.”

I must confess I felt offended by his ranting out of his dead spirit.

He surely fit the description of the man who is a fool for he concluded there is no GOD.

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1John 3:2

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. -John 14:1-3

Why is the true church excited about the Blessed Hope?  It is simply because we all face the time when we will die.  Death will come upon us and we will cease to be on the earth as a living being.  If that was all there was to life then we would have the right to be most unhappy.

Man was not created to be a temporal being but to be everlasting and would have been so if death through sin had not fasten itself upon man’s spirit, soul and body.

While attending a funeral the pastor there spoke of death being a friend.  I was somewhat taken back by that until she said the deceased was in physical torment with no hope of recovery, and death was the release he needed to relieve his suffering.

I understood this a little better when my uncle was dying with cancer, and had to have a shot of morphine every 2-3 hours.  He wanted desperately to pass on.

The time will come when we shall be beyond the power of death pain and suffering and that which is temporal.

1Corinthians. 15:19, 26 "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.  But now is Christ risen from the dead ...even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."

We dwell not on dying but on living and for whatever reason the thought of death passes through our mind we remind ourselves of THE BLESSED HOPE for our reality is rooted within it.

AS THE TOP SPINS

As a boy I had a toy top that would spin when activated with a built in auger. All I had to do was push it up and down and it would go faster and begin to make a humming noise.

After a while it would slow down and require me to once again to propel it to a fast speed. The problem was it always needed more stimulus - - much like the way the federal government works today.

Someone has made the statement that; “Today we elect people to serve us and as soon as they are elected they only serve their party.”

Our two (spend and tax) senators in California are a prime example of that statement.

President Obama has been victorious in getting over two trillion dollars to further his program of the redistribution of wealth from the haves to the have not’s.  Upon Obama’s reelection the number one item on his agenda will be the raising the debt limit and taxes.  (We should remember that a tax by any other name is still a tax).

So far he has been far more successful in raising money for his reelection than running the country.

Just when I have built my case against redistribution of wealth, I read that Marie Kolstad, Orange County, 83 year old Great-Grandmother, Gets Breast Implants.    Go figure!

Is Heaven Your Goal?

God is always listening to your Cry!  Are you Listening to Him?

How to Make Sure Heaven will be your Eternal Home

1. God loves you and has a plan for you!

The Bible says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, [Jesus Christ], that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

Jesus said, “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” — a complete life full of purpose (John 10:10).    But here’s the problem:

2. Man is sinful and separated from God.

We have all done, thought or said bad things, which the Bible calls “sin.” The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

The result of sin is death, spiritual separation from God (Romans 6:23).  But there is good news.

3. God sent His Son Jesus to die for your sins!

Jesus died in our place so we could live with Him in eternity.

“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).

But it didn’t end with His death on the cross. He rose again and still lives!

“Christ died for our sins. … He was buried. … He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Jesus is the only way to God.  Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me” (John 14:6).

4. Would you like to receive God’s forgiveness?

We can’t earn salvation; we are saved by God’s grace when we have faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. All you have to do is believe you are a sinner, that Christ died for your sins, and ask His forgiveness. Then turn from all sin—that’s called repentance. Jesus Christ knows you and loves you. What matters to Him is the attitude of your heart, your honesty. We suggest praying the following prayer to accept Christ as your Savior:

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins. I believe You rose from the dead. And now, I ask You to come into my heart. I repent of my sins. I turn my back on the past. I renounce the devil and all of his works. Please forgive me and give me a fresh, new start. I ask You to be my personal Lord and Savior, and I thank You for coming into my life and saving my soul. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Did you pray this prayer?

The Camel's Nose In The Tent

I said "Only your Nose!"

One cold night, as an Arab sat in his tent, a camel gently thrust his nose under the flap and looked in. "Master," he said”, let me put my nose in your tent. It's cold and stormy out here." "By all means," said the Arab, "and welcome" as he turned over and went to sleep.

A little later the Arab awoke to find that the camel had not only put his nose in the tent but his head and neck also. The camel, who had been turning his head from side to side, said, "I will take but little more room if I place my forelegs within the tent. It is difficult standing out here." "Yes, you may put your forelegs within," said the Arab, moving a little to make room, for the tent was small.

Finally, the camel said, "May I not stand wholly inside? I keep the tent open by standing as I do." "Yes, yes," said the Arab. "Come wholly inside. Perhaps it will be better for both of us." So the camel crowded in. The Arab with difficulty in the crowded quarters again went to sleep. When he woke up the next time, he was outside in the cold and the camel had the tent to himself.

America finds itself at the point of the camel’s head and neck within the tent of Christianity. Some would say the camel is even farther in than that.

One doesn’t have to be a prophet to get the message from on high that the vortex of evil is sucking the true spirituality of this nation down to oblivion.
Many of those in the pulpit who should be exposing this unrighteousness have compromised with it and are accepting it under the guise of being acceptable according to their code of spiritual ethics.

The fist of unrighteousness is being shook at the nose of GOD without fear of retribution. The courts of the land are in league with that which is unrighteous. Not only is the nation becoming a nation of dope heads and sexual deviates, but now it is being lauded as being legal.

The nation has gotten in bed with Satan and is producing offspring of like nature. It permeates the government, the courts, the public schools, and the job place.

When GOD is rejected then the evil one is free to do as he will and those wise enough to discern it can already see clearly what the future holds for this nation who loves the evil ones way rather than the Lord God Almighty.

GOD'S WORD AND TEACHING

You might enjoy my recent post regarding
The Best
Gifts God Gives to His Children

THE WORD AND TEACHING - EMPHASIS; RESPONSIBILITY OF THE HEARER

You have heard the statement the infallible Word of GOD; the word “Infallible” meaning; incapable of error or some such statement.

On the other hand teaching bears no such guarantee. Teaching is purported to be a true explanation of the infallible Word of GOD but like prophesy it is to be judged.

Sad to say much of teaching carries with it some hidden agenda whereby the hearers are manipulated by the speaker.

A more blatant example would be the Jim Jones debacle. While he preached his message under the guise of a church; his message was a mixture of socialism, communism, and an anti-God stance.

The people did not discern he was leading them down a deadly path and the result was indeed death.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron.” (I Timothy 4:1-2)

When any teacher proclaims that they have the ability to expound or clarify the Word of GOD, it is the responsibility of the hearer to determine if they are proclaiming the true Word of GOD; or is it their opinion of what they believe the Bible should have said.

Psalm 1:1-3 says;  “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper."

One who blindly follows false teaching is without excuse and will pay the price attached to false doctrine.

But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption 2 Peter 2:12

It is incumbent on hearers of sermons to take notes and as the Berea people did verify and prove it to see if what is taught is accurate.

You need to test and prove it out for yourself.

Acts 17:10-11“These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.”

(Imagine checking what Paul the Apostle was teaching to see if it was in accord with the whole counsel of GOD)   So what is the conclusion to the whole matter;

“The preacher’s responsibility”

2 Timothy 4:2-4 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths

“The hearer’s responsibility”

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflows of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

(Verify and check out all “Teaching” as you study and search the Scriptures for yourself.)

SHE’S ONLY A HOUSE WIFE

Only a Housewife

She is only a house wife, living in the world of might have been - -

She has to compete with working girls who spend much of their time with men.

They spend their money to become… Say on desirability?

Then try to steal away what’s left of the homebody’s bedtime charm…
Her man spends all the clothing money on himself for he must look good at all times.

She’s only a house wife who fears someone will recognize her dress is one they donated to the thrift store. (It is all she can afford.)

She does her hair as best she can with a brush and a can… Of hair spray.

While others party she doesn’t ever get away… Cause she’s only a house wife.

When her husband brings a friend home who in private comes over and suggests the no tell, motel on the morrow.

She tells her husband, not interested, he Poo Poos her, thinking no way… She’s only a house wife.

He says to the friend she thought you were kidding;, ha, ha, ha… Oh no, no I just said…

I wanted her to feel better about herself but you know…

I don’t want to put her down but after all she is only a housewife.

You know I would never… Oh yes, I know and I apologize for her wild imagination,

There was a time she could hold her own with any of the self-style beauties.

But now she hasn’t the means to compete. She still has as much or more to offer but alas it is all about the wrappings not the prize inside

Day by day she hopes the truth will set her free and her man will realize that he has is better than what he daily sees . . .

Joy to the man who knows she isn’t just a house wife and hasn’t forgotten the words that transformed her into the girl of his dreams;
“I love you, only you and no other will do, till death do us part.”

Let My Words Please The Lord

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Psalms 19:14

Let all of the words I speak and all the thoughts I think be acceptable to you “Oh GOD”.

As I sat thinking about a myriad of non-essential things these words drifted up out of my heart (spirit).

As I allowed them to rule the moment I asked myself; how long has it been since I prayed this prayer along with David. I must confess it has been too long for my mind has been filled with the things of daily living.

There is an old song we don’t hear much anymore and that is “Take time to be holy” and as it has been said; it takes time to be holy.

This time must needs be spent before the LORD speaking words of adoration and meditation on his majesty.

How important is meditating on GOD? It is essential for it is there He reveals Himself to his children.

This is one of the checks we need to often make. Test yourselves.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith.

What do the words of my mouth reveal about me?

As I listen to what I am saying does it reflect the spiritual heart of Psalms 19:14?

How important is it to stay on course?

Ask the astronauts for they were off just a partial degree they would miss their destination completely.

So also we as Christians need to stay on course lest we fail to be the examples GOD intends us to be. Let Psalms 19:14 be our daily challenge so we are acceptable in His sight.

A GOOD THANG

This is a True Story
Serious about Jesus

I started getting serious about religion at the age of 18. I reckon the Devil didn't like it for he was giving me some trouble, usually using some of my former friends.

This question is posed in Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Because we didn't agree we couldn't walk together any longer, we were now heading in different directions.

While looking to the Bible for help concerning this matter I read in Proverbs 18:22 He who finds a wife finds a "good thing" and obtains favor from the LORD. That sounded like a win, win situation. First, in finding a good thing, and then favor with the Lord.

In my mind I related finding a good thing to making a good deal and then as now I'm always a candidate for a good deal. I started looking high and low for my "good thing".  First I looked low to see if she was there.

I finally concluded that was like shopping at a used car lot.

While there were many fine looking cars that were suitable and with many good miles left in them that could provide years of good service none were exactly what I was looking for.

There were some that owner just got tired of them and traded in them for another while others were just rentals and a temporary arrangement.

Having failed in my quest by looking low I proceeded to look high for "my thing" where the new models were.

There were far fewer of these available but after some looking I finally found one I liked and could afford. She didn't come with all the bells and whistles some had but she had everything I needed and was a brand new model to boot.

Genesis 2:24 explains what happen next which was; For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh and so it was and is.

The word "inequitable" comes to mind when thinking about this "he and she" thing for the man gets a "good thing" when he gets a wife where the woman just gets a "thing" and has to try to make something good out of it.

GOD'S plan "A" has been best for me while others have had success in plan "B."

Whichever plan one chooses the promise still stands; He that finds a wife finds a good thing and favor with the Lord.

AM I HAPPY?

UN- HAPPY Couple

Strange as it seems you can go through life and never be sure if you are really happy for there is no measuring stick for happiness.

We can limit our happiness by measuring it by degrees. For one thing there are too many elements for being happy.  Everything that has or will touch you in some way becomes part of the equation. There are too many things to mention but to name a few, your education.  I could have done better, should have got more but it wasn't important at the time, and now I am suffering for it.

We can see failure everywhere if we just look for it and are ruled by our past.  Your looks, even if you are pretty, you are not sure if everyone thinks you are, so you spend your time and money trying to correct your perceived flaws.  I knew a minister who jokingly said; I think an apprentice angel must have worked on my nose because it isn't exactly what I wanted.

Cosmetic surgery has been the rage for the last sixty years. Bigger this and less of that will surly make me feel good about myself. Sometimes husbands want their wives to undergo the knife so he can be proud of her.

As a boy I receive great deal of education from the national geographic magazine. We were too poor to subscribe for them but they were at the library.  I was astounded at some of the things I saw.

There were articles where people native to Africa did hideous things to be accepted within their tribes. They would actually stick bones in their body.  Cut their flesh to make scars and make permanent markings in their skin.

Of course one shouldn't blame them for they were illiterate, primitive people seeking for self esteem.

This has been a heathen practice from the beginning and will be till the end.

It is interesting that there are tattooers for Jesus suckering Christians into paying them money to disfigure them.

Leviticus 19:28 You shall not make any cuts in your body for the dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

The tattoo people try to defend their practice by saying well GOD didn't like it under the law but He changed HIS mind after Christ came, and some simple minded fools will unwisely buy that explanation.

If you are not happy without a piercing or tattoo you are not going to be happy after getting them. If you want marks on your body do it the old fashion way like Paul did and suffer many beatings for preaching the gospel.

Galatians 6:17 From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcjK9yyER1Q

MY LAST CHANCE?

Years ago before the nation was criss crossed with super highways I traveled on two lane, sometime poorly maintained highways.

From time to time, especially when approaching a desert type of territory we would see a sign that said “Last chance for gas.”

You couldn't help looking at your gas gauge and even if you had more than a half tank full, your comfort zone would require you to stop and fill up.

Several times down the road I would come to another sign that would say “Last chance for gas.”

This caused me to think those first guys weren't telling the truth.

Over the years there have been many new religions pop up that met the requirements to be a recognizable faith.

The requirements are, you must have a BOOK, and it must be witty and convincing.  It must meet the demands of self sacrifice, for man wants to earn his salvation.

The prophet, well you must have a prophet.

Some have appeared out on the desert and got a revelation (you have to have a revelation).

And the miracles, he must perform miracles even if they are selling a bowl of soup for a quarter, that may not be a miracle but it is close enough.

The end result is you have a new religion and if the prophet can look holy he may convince some to join him.

The difference between these thought up religions and Christianity is that they lack an important ingredient and that is reality.

Their god isn't real, just a creation of their mind. They have substituted rhetoric for reality, and the best they can expect from that is something to occupy time.

The most impressive scripture in the bible is GOD’S declaration “I AM THAT I AM” encapsulated in those words is the declaration that he is, “The  ALMIGHTY” and there is no other. Genesis 1:1 in the beginning GOD Created the heaven and earth. Revelation 1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Today we are all on a journey and there are road signs every mile saying ours is the way turn aside here, “Last chance.”  The only problem is they are all dead ends.

The ALMIGHTY has declared that HE is not only the last chance, but the ONLY chance for redemption.

For those who are redeemed the sign “Last chance” is just a reminder that their tank is full of redemption, but for those who are going to wait and just travel a little further, and look for another warning, time may run out for them.

2 Corinthians 6:2 behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.
