Death, taxes, and
childbirth! There's never any convenient time for any of them.
So many things
to do, so little time to do it. This is the lifestyle of most people today.
It
makes you wonder how they find time to get into so much trouble.
Kids need to have the I.Q.
Of a genius to get a passing grade today. They have more home work than I did
as a student.
The Psalms were written in
the Bible by those who took time, made time for meditation on the things of the
Spirit. A good example of one who practiced
this was Mary the mother of Jesus.
In Luke 1:46 Mary says, “My
soul doth magnify the LORD.”
As she
continued to praise GOD it flowed out from within her spirit, without having to
“work it up” it was a result of taking time as the song says; “Take time to be
holy.:” (to be set apart).
Take time to be holy, speak
oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.
Make friends of God’s children, help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek
Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see.
Take time to be holy, let Him be thy Guide;
And run not before Him, whatever betide.
In joy or in sorrow, still follow the Lord,
And, looking to Jesus, still trust in His Word.
Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each motive beneath His control.
Thus led by His Spirit to fountains of love,
Thou soon shalt be fitted for service above

By choice you can go about,
doing your tasks and still be in contact with the Lord.
If your computer is always
on you have instant use of it, but you turn it off then it has to boot up and
load your programs before you can make contact with the outer world.
In the same way unless you
keep your communication line open with GOD, it may be awhile before you get
GODS attention.
The Mormon choir sings; Take
time to be holy.
