People in normal
conversation often use cuss words without realizing they are using them.
They do not consider or care if it offends anyone.
They feel it is a
socially acceptable practice and a God given right to do so.
Is there a difference
between swearing and cursing?
Broadly speaking
- - probably not, but a narrower view would reveal that cursing invokes the
name of Deity.
The Cuss Control
Academy says; cursing among other things is a tool for Whiners and
Complainers.
It discloses a
lack of character, it is immature, it reflects ignorance, it contributes to the
decline of civility, the Dumbing of America.
It lacks imagination, and it is abrasive language that has lost its effectiveness.
Some say that the
use of profanity stimulates the brain which causes the adrenaline gland to
inject a sense of power in the one using it.
Since the name of
the creator GOD is often used we find HE also uses some words describing said
profanicators and their future.
First God says
don’t use my name in any profane way!
Second HE says if
you do you will pay the consequences.
HE further says,
by your words you will be justified and by your words you will be condemned.
While many
educated people have tried to convince us it is helpful and even proper to use
profane words the Higher Power warns us not to do it.

the name of the Lord your God"

"The mind of this country, taught to aim at
low objects, eats upon itself." Ralph Waldo Emerson offered that
observation in 1837, but his words echo with painful prescience in today's very
different United States. Americans are in serious intellectual trouble -- in
danger of losing our hard-won cultural capital to a virulent mixture of
anti-intellectualism, anti-rationalism and low expectations.
