Such a large number of
people fit in the category of being little Anti- Christs and they vent their ire
in letters to the editor. At times their views are well stated while others just
want to get something off their chest and spew out their internalized venom.
No
matter what one’s opinion about the existence of GOD is, creation is a fact that
has to be accounted for.
Go back as far as your mind can take you there has to
be a source of everything. Outside of an eternal creative force we are left with
an Intellectualization defense mechanism which tries in vain to satisfy the
defense of there being no god.
Part of the reason for disputing the existence of
a creator God is persons don’t want to be told what they can and cannot do.
Along with God comes rules they don’t want to obey and the need to justify what
they want to feel free to do. Christians are often characterized as being Dang
Fools and it is true they sometimes act foolish but being a Christian is more
than accepting a dogma.
It is the result of making contact with our redeeming
creator or having a new birth experience.
Nothing in the experience of mankind
comes close to the dynamic involved when this happens. For me”, I was there when
it happened and I guess I ought to know”.
