Pope Benedict XVI
“In a strongly
worded attack, Benedict XVI insisted that marriage should be founded on the
"indissoluble" marriage between a man and a woman. In an address to half a million Catholic
faithful, the Pope condemned same sex marriage as a "dangerous and
insidious" challenge to society.
The Vatican
regards being homosexual as a "deviation" and an
"irregularity" and the act of homosexual sex as a sin. In a 2010
interview, “Benedict again underscored that view, saying “Homosexuality is
incompatible with the priestly vocation.”
Now says our new
Pope Francis:
On his return
flight to Rome from the World Youth Day in Brazil, Pope Francis surprised
accompanying journalists when he said, “Gay people should not be marginalized,
but integrated into society.
"When
someone is gay and seeks the Lord, who am I to judge him?" the Pope asked.
Apparently he
views himself as being somewhat less than the “Vicar of Christ” that is one who
speaks in place of Christ to the church.
The words, “Who
am I,” point to the fact that he views the succession of Popes from Peter to be
insignificant and an unreality at least in his case.
The fact that so
many homosexuals and pedophiles have infiltrated the Catholic Church and are
now even changing the stand the Church has stood for since the time of Christ,
forebodes the coming of apostasy of the said Church.
